Went to a spot I thought might be a camp site and turned out to be right.Didn't find a whole lot,but I was very pleased with the finds.Found my very first dropped .58 caliber i was so happy and no one to show it to but the good lord a few cows and an ole bluetick hound.looks like it has maybe a 55 or us in it,hard to make out.Tried to get a pic of the inside but couldn't figure out the camera to get a good shot. Also found a couple buckles and a squeeze box reed and a few unknowns. Thanks for looking.

Could the brass piece with the rivets on the end be a straight razor possibly? I like the little lightening rod, cool beans.

Thanks coilygirl.at first I didn't know, but that's what I'm thinking it was some kind of knife.I knew it was brass but I stuck a magnet to it and there was metal inside I pried it open a little but it was rusted so bad it was just like powder.

The reeds are pump organ reeds, not squeeze box/concertina reeds.

Nice finds!
