1683 V III coin

Found this coin today. 1683. With a harp on the back. It's very heavy and thick and I've never seen one before. It has VIII in lage letters across the front and I think it says aggold on the side. Anyone that can shed any light please do :)

Or a coin weight. Used to measure the weight of a gold coin. Nice find. Usually the looks of the coin will be depicted on the weight. Someone may chime in on this one. Hogge

Been finding all sorts in this place.. 17th century stuff a few 1680 coins and lots more
