I first got a nickel signal on the XP Deus at the park. After digging a piece of old tin, I ran the coil over the hole one more time before covering it and that time I got a sweet, silky tone with a VDI of 91 (at 12KHz)! I dug maybe one more inch and found this 1900 Barber dime in great shape.

This cool coin was totally masked by the tin foil an inch or so above it. How many more coins lurk underneath the 1000's of pulltabs, foil, and bottle caps in our parks? I get all excited thinking about it! :hello2:

Sweet. Which program were you hunting in? I usually run in GM Power or Deus Fast, each tweaked to match ground conditions. I love how the Deus seems to see through junk much of the time!
