Thanks guys! I think I'll try to remove some of the debris and hopefully good finds underneath!

I'm liking those Coke bottles. Any chance you can show us a pic of them all cleaned up? Maybe a pic of the bottom stamps? They look nice. You should do well with some slow swinging and some patience.

I sure can! I have them soaking in a cleaning solution right now. I did do research on 1 bottle in particular and its a 1958 Wright's root-beer. I usually bring a 5 gallon bucket with me on my hunts and this trip I had to leave countless bottles behind because my bucket was over flowing! Ill post pics of all the bottles cleaned up it the next day or two.
Thanks for the interest!

Wonder what the "Heavy" went to? Just be careful lifting any of those boards, you know in Louisiana that's a good hiding place for snakes & black widows.

Absolutely River Rat! One of my main MD-ing tools is my handy machete. I figured that before I'm done I'll encounter a copperhead or two. Thanks!

Ok DMN....here's the pics of the cleaned up coke bottles. I will enter them in order of what I think is the newest to the oldest, but I'm just guessing. I tried to look up the ages but the web site I looked at referred to the slogan on the bottle to determine when it was produced. None of these have a slogan that I could find.

This bottle also had numbers on the side.
