My brother came and got me yesterday, took me out to our little dump we have been exploring. We did not get much quantity, but we sure got some quality. 2 Cripple Creek loop seal beer bottles that were used in 1901 and a rarer 8oz druggist bottle from Cripple Creek used in 1900. A great start to 2013,can't wait till the next time. Keep your shovels dirty. P.S. GAS,where are ya ???

Wow! Splendid bottles! :notworthy: :icon_thumright: I also just voted BANNER, so now there's two votes! KEEP THE BANNER VOTES COMING, FOLKS! These are fabulous Cripple Creek bottles, intact and just dug, quite an instant collection, WOW! I've been interested in Colorado mining stories ever since my mom & Dad visited Cripple Creek & other locales back in the early 1960's, and then I did some poking around in those mountains myself later in that decade, digging up some tiny crystals and enjoying seeing beavers play in cold ponds. Visited Silverton, Ouray, etc. While hiking in more remote spot there, I met a small scattered herd of cattle grazing in woods along a dirt road --- those cattle did NOT want me to be there, lol. So glad you posted these bottles, and looking forward to your next finds! Andi
