I headed out today more or less for the therapeutic value of it.

Anyway I "THINK" I may have made my best find ever.

Half of a french Military Buckle. (not even sure of that)

I most certainly don't have a clue, but, my gut feeling is good, and usually .......something. I can write a better story later, right now I just want to know what in the heck I got.

Also came close to crossing off gold pocket watch off my top ten list.

Those are a couple nice finds Rick. It will be interesting to see what your buckle turns out to be when it's IDed.

Rick you are hot on the buckles this week aren't you. I bet you will find the other half soon. That pocket watch must have made your hart skip a beat or two I bet.
I'll give you a call tomorrow evening mate, now go find the rest of the buckle.

Nice find...same area as your snake buckle?

No about ten miles between.

Would like to get the other half, but I won't hold my breath.
