A new property to hunt and my first SLQ

The house was built in 1874 and has a pretty big lot for a home in the village, lots of ground to cover. I started in the front yard and it was covered with memorial cents, so I moved to the back yard and it definitely got better. The first old coin was a wheat and then I got a 1937 merc, about 6' away I got a quarter signal and at about 7" a quarter flipped out and I could tell right away it was a Standing Liberty, sweet my first one! That was a 1919 I was glad it had a date on it, a little while later I got my third silver of the day a 1923 merc a great start on this property.

Congrats on your nice silver coins! Also like your site pics very much. I lived in rural area outside village of Chazy, NY near Lake Champlain for 6 years a long time ago, way upstate! Dug some nice bottles on our old property there, but wasn't into metal detecting yet so I missed all the old relics & coins. HH Andi
