1750 Cabin Site Finds, Heavy Colonial Silver, Lots Of Pics

I went to a 1750 cabin site that has been pounded by me this weekend and dug some very interesting relics. I scored two large tombac buttons, one of which has intricate etching, characteristic of the mid 1700s. I dug a couple brass tacks, a thimble, a pewter spoon handle, rectangular squeeze box reed, a london flat button, two fired musket balls, two fragments of colonial shoe buckles, an unknown brass ornate rectangular item, a strap end made of tombac(thanks gtoast99), and last but not least, my largest piece of silver that was not a coin. I think it is a scabbard tip, but am still unsure. Feel free to take a stab, no pun intended I believe it is colonial due to the crude construction. It weighs 11.8 grams and had to undergo some cosmetic surgery so that I could see what I was working with. Thanks for looking folks!

Great finds. I love digging colonial relics. Looks a lot like my finds from this weekend. Hopefully someone can ID the silver cone shaped piece.

I think your guess is plausible - I have almost zero expertise regarding weapons or militaria , but looking at the piece as it is , scabbard
tip seems a decent try .
