Beginners luck I guess

Only a few weeks into my new addiction I was fortunate to stumble upon a Canadian 1875 5 cent silver small date which is a key date in the series.Afrer some research I believe it to be in F12 condition.As if I wasnt already hooked, what a rush!

Absolutely beautiful old coin! I love the simplicity of its design, much more appealing than overly ornate coins. And Victoria looks pretty young here! For a detecting comparison, it took me about a year to find my first silver coin, and two-and-a-half years to dig my first gold of any type. Andi
