In Norway,following the law all objects Older then 1537 and coins older then 1650 are the state´s property.
Things that are newer, I can keep. so get some coins and buttons.
but is pleased to have the confidence to take part in the excavation.

Great finds. The glass beeds are great. Maybe venetian trade beeds?
Did you get a date for the grave?

So far, it found 10 different graves. the year is dated 570-800 AD

The pendant with the garnet(?) eyes is supposed to be a warriors head with helmet or is my imagination too vivid?

Thank you so much for the nice words, silversweeper.
I want to be part of the excavation the next week and will take more film.
It is revealed graves across the field. this will take a long time to dig out.
Now it pops up a lot in Norway but not many public photos or web pages that show this.
and they use probably 1-2 years to preserve the findings. but usually they start with the finest things first.
something shows up I'll post it.
