GEESH it's COLD !!!!!!!

Just when we thought we were gonna get off with no "BAD" weather here in northern Indiana, winter has set in with a vengeance!!!!! So since I see no chance of getting out again to swing my Ace here are my finds for January.

COME ON SPRING !!!!!!!!!!!!

You aint a whistlin' dixie its cold. This ole boy from South East Texas aint used to 16 degrees and a wind chill of minus 8-10. Give me an im whenever you feel like doing a little hunting. I am staying in Crown Point while working in Whiting. I have 2 old home sites that I have been given permission to hunt when it warms up. TMAN...

Quite the display you got there. Looks like you have enough for firewood now.
I see you're by South Bend. I'm originally from LaPorte. My Dad lives in Fish Lake, and my brother in New Prairie. They told me you guys are getting hit pretty good with the cold weather & snow.

Same Here Ivy! 19 degrees last nite!! TOOOOOOO cold for the south!! I went out today anyway!! 3 pullovers, a coat, gloves and real quick swinging! :P Congrats on a good month........I'm so ready for spring too!!

Oh yeah - I hear ya! Not a ton of snow this winter in New Hampshire, but enough to keep me from detecting.
We've had quite the little cold snap lately, too, which means I'd have to have a pick instead of a digger to find anything! LOL!

Great finds Ivy, as for the weather as much as it kills our hobby I need another couple weeks of good solid cold. I'm in the plumbing and heating business (ironic know?) "fish have to swim, birds gotta eat" sucks right.

Great finds - COLD? - This morning I saw two 'ol hound dogs out in the field with a pair of jumper cables tryin' to get a rabbit started.

It's so cold when I went to town I saw a lawyer with his hands in his own pockets!

The snow is beggining to melt here, leving water and some wet ground..

10 degrees this morning in St. Louis..hard to believe I was out 5 days ago pulling up all kinds of stuff in the soft ground..now it's as hard as a rock..the weather people are saying it won't get out of the 20's for at least a week
