Re: Not much but I'm not complaining!

Thanks to all for the replies. I should have mentioned this in my post but my 7 year old son Zachary helped me get these. I find it with the MXT then he digs it and pin points it with my pin pointer. He absolutely loves it and I love watching him dig through the dirt till the pointer vibrates. The look in his eyes says it all. Even when it's just a bent penny it's like he just found a diamond ring. Thanks again for looking. :D

W,

neat.

Enjoy Zachary now; be with him; teach him your ways;
they grow up fast.
Never better moments spent.

Sherm,
He's my life. We tried for 5 years to no avail. (been married 17) Then, BAM! It worked. I was 40 when he was born but that doesn't matter a bit to me. He keeps me young. This hobby of ours could not be a better way to spend time with him and teach him a few things about life. Of course fishing runs a close second. I find myself now, not wanting to go MD'ing with out him. Even though I feel I could concentrate a bit more but there's just something missing when he's not there beside me. I feel "cheated" when I find something and I cant share it with him. We're going to the beach this weekend and try our luck. I'll post our day's finds for all to see.

Have a good un yourself!

Tom

Cool, I've offer to do a demo for the local primary school. They have a Roman cemetary as a football pitch. The kids are going to help dig & the school will keep what they find. I was hoping to do it as part of their history project but the timescales were wrong so they made the excuse that It is science based. So will talk about eletromagnetic fields!! I'm sure I will get a similar reaction when we dig stuff up.

I don't know where you are but at least you can hunt schools. Not allowed to in North or Central Florida. They lock them up tighter than NASA!

Very nice Wheezy, WTG!!!
It's always nice to have those little bright eyes around, that's what it's all about...
Continued good luck to you both, I hope he finds 'em a great big diamond soon...

Wheezy, The time spent and the memories forged with your son are priceless compared to anything you could pull from the ground. Savor these times. HH
