1723 Woods Hibernia and 1909 Indian

I found the Hibernia in a hay field and the Indian at a cellar hole. My hunting buddy found a 1817 LC at the cellar. It was a good day! I also found at the hay field the button which has some gilt on it.

Welcome Stan and that is great finding the Woods Hibernia. A Dr Phil Mossman, noted nuministic author is doing a survey on ground found Woods Hibernia coinage and if you would kindly send him the photos of the coin, he will add to the survey and probably ID the variety if he has enough details showing. Nice digs! Those Hibernias don't often come out of the ground in that good a shape. Congrats !

That's a nice copper, I mean you don't get 1700's coppers with that much detail, and date too often. Often coins (copper) a hundred years newer aren't as good.
