We found this pin in a lot at auction. We have no idea if it is military are not.on the back it says g23 ira green inc. Any help would be awesome.

Until someone pipes in - I searched Google and found that Ira Green Inc. was founded in 1943 and located in historic Providence, Rhode Island is the largest manufacturer and distributor of United States military decorations, medals, insignia and uniform related accessories.

I also searched

and found another thread that also had G23 on Unknown military pin -solved! (May 02, 2011). Now, it wasn't like your PIN but their is a lot of related information (i.e., Seems G23 is for military heraldry (another term that sends me on a goosechase), etc.) discussed in the thread.
