Two Liberty Heads, Two Indian Heads, Two Roosevelts!

Hunted 4 hours today. Noticed a hump across a field that seemed to be an old road. I searched both sides of it and a level area that may have been a homesite. Finds came two, by two, by two! The least valuable coin I found was a Sacagawea Dollar! H Digs!

You are right, Buffalo dates are hard to read. The "36" is fairly readable. The "25" is a date that was determined by looking for any date indications under a microscope and then comparing trace marks to coins of known dates. Even the slightest hint of a number can give the date away. Fortunately the most enduring digit is the third one. That gives you the decade, then any evidence of the year, that remains, can usually be interpreted. I have only found one Buffalo that I couldn't identify. Thanks for commenting and looking!
