1769 ore coin

I found this and 3 Stamp collecting books in my great grandparents stuff after they passed . I wish it could talk . It wasnt dug so I dont count it as a "FIND" but more as a gift . Thought yall might like it .

Very interesting old coin! Hopefully someone here will know more about it. Also wonderful that your great-grandparents were able to hold on to their stamp collection instead of having to sell it off - my dad had to sell most of his stamp collection & coins due to hungry mouths to feed. Andi
