Been doing my abandoned grade school..new location for me..
been at the place a total of 7 hours..$13 in clad so far and a quick
one hour hunt today before dark.. found this little shiner with another $1.22

Dont really expect to find silver coins here, was built in 1968..a house used to sit on the property
before it was donated but assumed land was cleared before school was built.

All I was hoping for was a silver or gold ring and already pulled one so worth the effort.

Very lovely ring, & cool that the stones are still there! :notworthy: After two years of digging a few silver rings & other goodies with my Bounty Hunter, finally this summer I also dug 2 nice gold rings - one at an iron-infested beach and the other in an old railroad cut full of old bottle caps, nails, etc. HAVE FUN! GuitarGuy , That's a nice find ! Your gold ring will come - site selection plays a part - heavily frequented parks , or perhaps an old swimming hole location ,
Finding a gold ring also means digging nearly every pulltab/nickel signal you get (It's sort of like you get rewarded for "taking out the trash" eventually .)

Yeah I have a few good water and swimming spots to do, but need a AT Pro..only been on land so far..I usually sweep for high signals 1st then do low signals toward the end..I don't have anyone else on these spots ither and can take my time.
