Great Finds!!!!! Can you make out the initials? I think it would be cool to find out what troops was in the area and pull up the old unit rosters. How great would it be to know the name or see a picture of the person who could of carved that bullet 150 years ago? Even better maybe someday it could be returned to a distant relative. You could track his entire tour from start to finish. While your doing all that research I'm sure you will find other great places to detect. It all started with a beep!!!

It's either a M or W depending how you look at it. The light is not great in the photo but if you look at the bullet length ways there is a B or what looks like a B.

I sort of see what you mean but is it usual to put the B on a different angle to the W/M? Also something like a double line at the left pointy end??
