    I'm starting to lean towards the guys who think it is too light. Unless it is much thinnner than it looks.
    It looks to be about inch and a half diameter, by one quarter inch thick, is that about right ?

    So what are it's average measurements ?
    Maybe better you could find out it's exact volume, by putting it in the smallest rectangular box, like a tic-tac box or similar, fill with water, and the nugget, remove the nugget (with fishing line) see how many cubic centimeters are now missing

    I know how that feels. Found a beautiful brass piece that felt and looked exactly like gold before as well. I must have spent 2 days just staring at it
