kid's cache..lots of pennies

So this is my second kid's cache. It's a modern one again though in my judgement its been there about 20 years.
Ive been hitting a park with a tot-lot and field, pulling up a lot of clad, a silver charm, a peso, etc. Nothing great but I like pocket spills so I go back and check near the parking area. Mostly pennies I find in my experience near parking areas, but I start digging them up stuck to each other and such.
At first I thought it was an ashtray dump but after fifty or so I realization someone buried them. No wheats or silver. This is where the propointer comes in handy.
Anyway so I pulled a couple hundred and figure there are 50+ left. It does start to tear up the ground and draw attention so I'm in no hurry to get back, but it was fun. I may have to go back and shovel out a bucketful of dirt and maybe leave some nice topsoil, so I can search through it at home.
Thanks for looking.

Congrats on the cache! Maybe they will get around to burying aluminum wrapped paper dollars!

I wouldn't mind finding penny caches, provided they were buried a hundred years ago or more.

No kidding. Digging modern pennies like this burns me out in a way, though I've been really surprised lately at the amount of clad sitting around in picnic areas still. MD's will totally clean out a small swimming beach, yet I'll go up to a picnic table on the grass and pull out $2 in clad, random keys, maybe a wheat penny...

The scenery is better on a beach.:laughing7:
