I got off work a little early and went back to a place I had found a few keepers. The first hour didn't produce much but some can slaw and a neat old white button. I went to a section of the front yard that I had not searched, and got a shallow signal on the Etrac that bounced around from a quarter to half dollar. I was expecting another big piece of soda can when I popped my plug, but was pleasantly surprised to see a silver Washington. I walked to my truck to get the camera and wondered why I got such funny numbers. I took a picture and thought to check the hole with my pinpointer and got another signal. I moved a little bit of dirt and saw that awesome rim of big silver! I could see there was a coin that had been sitting on the half and found the nickel last. I didn't have much time after that and had to get home. My kids shared the excitement as I told them my treasure tale when they got home from school. There was a big black stain on the front, but I spent a few minutes and it cleaned off. I left the stain from the nickel because it makes for a good story. HH David
