Headed out with the Patriot to a new site with lots of potential, and the targets weren't jumping out very fast until the tide went out and we could hit the beach. Got the usual colonial stuff, musketballs, buttons etc. Got a silver spoon which I had first thought was silver plated, turns out it was just affected by the salt water. Can't really make out the makers marks though.

Nope, just pretty thick woods bordering right onto the beach. Nice stone foundation right above the beach where the finds were coming from but nothing showing up around the foundation. Not sure if the good targets are just too deep until the bank errodes or if the beach finds aren't even connected, was a weird site!

Definitely an old site! Was the grass long?
