You Can't Get Much More Gold Gilt On a Button, Other Buttons, 1895 V Nickel

Hi All,

It has been awhile since I had been out detecting, I was taking care of some personal issues. Anyways it was a button kind of day yesterday. First I dug the little cuff button, then came the 1895 V Nickel in decent shape. After digging some good old junk , I then dug back to back the Anchor Button and the Shield Button. I believe these are just 20th Century Blazer Buttons. After digging some more junk I got a decent signal and out popped the 1840-1850 Scovills&Co plain button with Amazing Gilt left. This is the second button of this kind I dug at this site. All I know is this button and the other one were made to last. Thanks for reading and looking :icon_thumleft:.

The button is great, but so is the condition of the V nickel for coming out of the ground. With that amount of detail is must have been uncirculated or close to it when it was lost.

Thanks again for the comments. Yeah the "V" Nickel came out real decent, especially for a ground found nickel.
