Forgot all about this find , It comes from my Red River Manitoba Site. Only Half a tube left , but I was able to get this picture of a full tube from a website. Dont no the Date of this tube, but its a keeper! ;D

Neat find. Weren't the lids for those silver or something? I know it sounds stupid, but, I dug a cap like that one from the woods of camp logan. 1920s I believe. No corrosion at all on it after all those years.....I will look for the pic of the cap and post it.....

Maybe it is lead. It came out shiny. Not at all like typical lead. Maybe chrome or nickel plated and lead inside?????

Don't think they were silver, I think they are lead.

If I'm going to apply something to the inside of my mouth everyday, I want it to be fully encased in delicious and toxic lead. LOL ;D

Neat old find! I find a lot of those lead type tubes here and many of the top portions. That is my brand of toothpaste by the way. HH, Mike

I wonder if the Members of the FRANKLIN EXPEDITION brushed their Teeth with toothpaste That came out of lead tubes ? they ate out of lead soldered cans !

I am not sure who invented the teeth brush.....it is a known fact that the 'tooth'brush was invented in Arkansas...... ;)

straight up scary story seen aboutthat on tv many times
remember way back when the kids used to make there own lead soldiers way way back in the day
thats right son breath deep breath deep and dont forget to brush your teeth ::)

dont mix florite and acid the fumes will kill you a slow long lingering death in 20 years or so

Peeled the tube opened , guess lead is a great preserver ! dried paste inside LOL!
