As yesterday's site was a bit choppy & we only had a 3 hour window we returned to our reserve spot. We are kind of saving it as it has the longest window until the spring crop is put in. Sadly this year they covered the Roman Site with that black crap that is full of small metal, so the going was slow as we clear it all.:tongue3:

A good result for 3 hours:

9 Scrappies
Tudor Button
Roman Key Handle
Tiny piece of Saxon Brooch
Piece of Saxon Wrist Clasp
Nice Saxon Pinhead

This year will be very hard to beat, in terms of Saxon artefacts...

Nice finds as usual!
We just had some really wet and then frigid weather come thru, it may be coming across the pond in the next few days.
Hunt while the hunting is good, HH!

Nice stuff again Cru. I can't believe how many of those scrappies you dig. Seems like you come home with a handful on just about every hunt.
