I finally found out who owns another abandoned house about 1/4 mile up the road from me.

The owner said her parents lived in it for 50 years, it's about 75 years old. So I went up there with my Ace this afternoon, and here are some of the finds.

Found a round little hinged tin that says "Luxor" on the front of it. Found part of a toy gun, a dog hunting license, some clad and an old marble. Barely got to search much of it, I'm hoping for some silver.

Also got this, not sure what it is. It appears oriental, and hinged on one side. Put a dime in it for scale. It sounded off as silver too.

That looks like a great place to find some silver! Good luck with your hunting. If you found part of a cap gun there should be other toys there as well. Still waiting for the thaw here in Pennsylvania! Two Dogs

I believe "Luxor" was a brand of watch, in the way back then. good luck and happy hunting
