Best finds of 2013. 3 plates and capped off with a capped bust!

2013 was an exceptional year with a ton of relics found. Pictured below are my best finds which include 2 US box plates, eagle sword plate, Virginia staff button, Rhode island staff button, Massachusetts staff button, federal officer staff button and other military buttons.

Over one hundred flat buttons dating from early 1700's to 1800's! Had a good year on large coppers with the best and most outstanding condition 1731 king George the II!! Found many buckles including an awesome tombac knee buckle.

I cleaned up on lead this year finding 300 bullets on the dot and about 70 things of camp lead and other.

I had several firsts this year including the plates, 2 cent piece, shield nickel, and the best of all was the 1821 capped bust quarter found on a family owned farm.

2013 was an awesome year and can't wait to get started on 2014! I hope everyone has a blessed year and happy hunting!

Those are some outstanding recoveries. You are obviously doing the legwork and research to make it happen. Bravo to you for making such great finds. There was only one year I had a 3 plate year in the past two decades.
