Amazing work! Must have been someone's collection they needed to cash in to pay the bills. Bet they never thought it was worth over $300.

I thought it was closer to $400 :) $10 per 90%er and $3 per 40%er = $418 for numismatic value!

Outstanding CRH day!

Thanks!

Haha their loss is my humongous gain!

Awesome! Congrats! I'm gonna have to try CRH, if I can just pry my fingers off my detector for a while.

Well, considering i've never found a gold/silver ring, i just made more off CRH in one day than i have in 4 years of MDing! Though i have found some pretty sweet relics :)

I think i'll wait till silver goes back up to $40 per ounce and then sell my halves ;) Thanks man!

Way to go. Silver has been hard to come by this year for me. Congrats

Thanks Steve! the only other silver i'd found CRHing was a 43-s war nickel in nearly three years of CRHing! Granted though, my 15 yr old budget sucks. lol

One of those great, going-down-in-history finds!

(Someone due for a 'whuppin' when dad or grandpa finds out they stole their halves to buy bubblegum......? )

you can still find that amount of silver and clad silver half's in a 100 pieces. I've never tried coin roll hunting on anything...I think I'll start next Monday. I'll be traveling next week and I'm going to hit these banks for rolls as I go down the road and go though them when I get to the motel for the night. That be better then sittin there flippin the TV channel till I dose off.
