DIGGIN' IN NEVADA
Hello once again from the sunny state of nevada....made it out both today and yesterday to play in my favorate spot....still kinda muddy but we did ok.
Yesterday we pulled a 1945 s wheatie, and a 42 s, alont with a 1943 s war nickle, along with a few marbles and bottles....
today we got back in my hole and did a couple of hours worth of digging and found one chineese coin, a 1912 d barber dime in good shape and a token i am still working on....
a couple of marbles one clay and one bennington, a real nice 1920's corky half gallon jug,
and a bunch of brass or copper whaz itz's that still need cleaned up....
all in all we, my wife, and 12 yr old son had a pretty good weekend....
here are a few pics of the stuff the boy has collected so far this spring...
happy hunting and hope to see you here....

Very nice stuff. WTG with the coins and bottles!

Spent a week at the Tonopah dump a couple years ago. We had a great time. Is the Cranky Crab still in business?

We didn't find a lot of stuff because we didn't have a good screen. How about showing us the screen you use? Thanks.

I use a 1/4 inch screen, I know it is alot smaller then most people use but I dont miss much, it is 4'x3' square......the boy made it out tonight for a while and came up with another token a dodge brother emblem from 1914-1938, so some where in the early twenties, dating by the coins we are finding in the hole....will try and get you a pic of the screen tomarrow.
happy hunting

The food was lousy, IMO, but the owner/cook and the waitress were right out of Ma & Pa Kettle. Hilarious!
