Hunting in January? What planet am I on?

I can honestly say yesterday was my first ever January hunt. Word on the street was that you could sink a shovel into the ground, so I hit one of my spots.

I managed to find a couple of buttons, an 1864 NB LC, an older and larger NB One Penny Token and.... a "rare" Magdalen Islands Trader's token.

IronPatch laughed at me last time I found one, when I called it scarce and rare. I guess he was right. At least you can see the seal on the ice floe on this one.

The Deep Freeze is back this week. See you guys in the spring!

Lightening struck twice for you Gio!

I was throwing the idea of taking a stab at a field myself, but didn't pull the trigger , oh well , at least my coins will be there waiting for me when I do. Lucky for you those suckers won't have to spend another cold winter in the ground, good going!
