A lot more unique silver to me because of the history behind it. Love finding them.

I like finding those silver nickels. I find one just often enough to make me feel like I'm not wasting my time digging those "nickel" signals. ;)

Love the way they sort of shine up at ya, you know right away that it's a special nickel.

No names, but would advise the attacks on members finds stop.

They are cool to find, but I guess a few friends and I who have hunted since the early 70s must be the only folks who consider them nickels, not silver.

My first silver was a war nickel. But what I can't understand is why someone would want to degrade the joy of a persons first silver find.

Seriously.. It took me over two years of metal detecting before finding the silver coin that in after. I even found a diamond ring, silver ring, buffalo nickel, and very old wheaties before finding a silver coin!! I mean what are the odds and people come to degrade the fact?? All jealous I'm guessing. Their first silver must've been 1964 Jefferson haha.
