In an area where I was two years ago , was very surprised to find fragments of pottery dating from the Bronze Age and a beautiful bronze battle ax dating from the XVI-XIII centuries B.C.This type of ax belongs of Wietenberg culture (was a Bronze Age archeological culture in Central Transylvania , Romania , and it's name was coined after the eponymic Wietenberg Hill near city of Sighișoara). Also on top of a small height , I found an old chain system for hanging the metal pot (kettle) for cooking and/or boiling over an open fire. The way it was done, after twisting to increase strength, clamping rings and the ability to turn around, archaeologists believe it may be celtic (Iron age , La Tene period). It may be so because in the same area two years ago I found a Celtic spear. I also found near these places , the rest of a small XIII-XIV century mediaeval fortification. So there I’ve detected the fortress nails and 3 different types of iron arrowheads.
Enjoy ! :hello:

I have been out, but now am back in time to see this fabulous batch of historical hardware. Very impressive. To be able to hunt in the relic rich environs such as you have available would be a real hoot, to put it lightly. Bravo!! and congrats on your banner find.
