Got out of the frozen Midwest here in Kansas and drove down to Birmingham for a family thing this past week.
Only had 2 chances to hunt in an old and favorite park but I made them count.
The first hunt I found several pieces of a silver earring, the main bangle says 925 on it so this is my first silver of the year.
The second hunt was in an area of the park I have never hunted before, found this old pocket watch that actually still had a hand on it.
Not silver or gold like 2 others I found in the past, at best it might be silver plated, but still old and cool and I will take it.
It was a pleasure digging even trash in ground that wasn't frozen...quite different than what I have been dealing with around here for the last few months. Come on spring!
