I detected for about an hour and a half today and found this watch key. The field has 1700's on up through 1900's relics, but this was found where there is predominantly colonial artifacts. Just wondering if anyone recognises the hallmark. The back does have a design as well, but the corrosion made it hard to get a good picture on it but I could make out a triangle shape.

Sweet find!! The crossed swords like that usually means cavalry but its interesting to see on a key watch!
I found a ring a while ago with a similar design so maybe they relate
