We didnt find the Leprachaun's pot of gold but we did find a few pieces

And a couple of pieces of silver too. Bobbie continued her making up for lost time last month today by adding 2 more pieces of gold to her collection today. Both came from the same school yard, she found the 14k bangle bracelet in the back play area, and the the 10k ring with rubies and white topaz came from the front one.I found the wooden cross at the same school yard. After lunch we hit a school yard that we hadnt been to in a year, Bobbie found the sterling silver eternity pendent with silver chain there and I found the 10k yellow and white gold butterfly ring. We hit couple more school yards for more spending clad and one city park that produced the .925 heart for me and Bobbie found one of those new Washington dollar coins. Clad amount for the day was $14.25 between us. Congrats to all that got out

Someone found a George Washington dollar coin already? That didn't take long. How deep was it (or was it a surface find)?

Re: We didnt find the Leprachaun's pot of gold but we did find a few pieces

Thanks all, Sheldius I asked bobbie and she said it was right on the surface behind some swings. Her's did have the "In God We Trust" on the rim.
AP, I dont know about a DVD but we are always willing to share what we know. The one thing that we do have to our advantage is that we have no time limits on our saturday hunts unless there is the rare work or family event that requires us to be home by a certain time. As a result we can detect all day and if we are in a area that is not producing for that day we will head off in search of another area. Some days we burn lots of gasoline.
Next weekend is monthly road trip weekend, and we are going to be detecting some new areas that we have not previously detected, as well as some that we detected one time last year. We will see what Bobbie "My little treasure seeker" digs up

Hi,

Who do you ask permission from to search a school yard? Just curious since there are 4 with blocks of my condo in Athens, GA. Don't want to get arrested or even yelled at.

Nice finds, btw. I didn't mention that earlier.
