Returned to our backup field & gridded another 4 hours, we are now close to completing the whole of this field.
For an area that has been a big blank on our maps we did pretty good:

9 Scrappies
17th C Token
Roman Hobnail
Royal York Rangers Button early 1800s8-)
Hammered Penny of Ed I :icon_thumright:
Livery Button
Rose Tombac Button
Leather decor
Bits...

There is a least a 130 year date range on 4 hole buttons but I think mine are mostly late 19th C.

Cru,
Outstanding hunt as always Sir.
Is that a button in the top right picture with all the circle on it? :icon_scratch:
I've often wondered how or if you display your relics in any manner. You find so much I can't even imagine.
Congrats,
MM

Yes a fairly unusual button. It had a steel back so probably 20th C.
