ok so i found an old button, what looks to be a cuff link a carriage bolt and a square nail, then the bigger item i have no idea what it isits hollow, solid on one end open on the other with square holes down the sides, any thoughts?

deff iron but what is it lol , the button spiked in the silver range but it doesnt look like silver
