Kind of lonely today so I thought I'd go to my "church" and do a little praying along with my swinging.

Didn't find a lot :

Yep, that's a rather large, plain old iron washer. But, it gave me quite
a bit of a giggle today. It was the timing.

I was talking with the Lord as I do when I'm out at my "church". I said,
"C'mon Lord, how about just one ring for old times sake today. wink, wink, nudge, nudge".

Next hit? Yep! LOL

Neat little token.

This little pin was my star of the day. It's actually in 3 pieces. They were pretty much in the
same hole but they were already broken. I'm just happy to find all of them.

Looks like a fairly old style eagle. Whatcha think?

Happy Easter everyone!

the eagle was a necklace drop. late 70's, very early 80's. I remember most of them having a leather lace for the necklace rather than a chain

What material would they use to make the eagle?

all the ones I remember were just pot metal. They were pretty common sellers at flea markets, some gum machines, and I think Avon sold a version too. The Avon ones are probably marked with their trademark.

Nice haul of finds! I get the same kind of humorous responders to my requests, but it's usually in the form of a pop top ring, or foil someone has curved into a ring shape.
Maybe he's right we need to be a lot more specific in our requests, but then we know what will happen! The items would just get weirder and funnier!
At lest you got out, I couldn't, bummer! And my Internet service is about to shut down for a time, double bummer! And there will be a lot of nice finds posted on T Net and some banner...happened last time!
Blingie and his new friend are getting along real well! I hope they don't think that washer is a life preserver!

JG, you made me remember the Avon Bull necklace I wore as a teen in the 70's! I thought that thing was the coolest!
Whad and Ms, you are absolutely right in the humorous ways our little "requests" are answered. You did wayyyyyy better than I did, Whad. Hope the hunt helped your loneliness. Keep swinging for the fence!:coffee2:
