Help with button identification.

I was wondering if anyone could give me any info on these. I know nothing about buttons, so any piece of information would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I'm not sure either, but try posting the pics in "What is it" or "What is it worth" they are a few forums below this one, maybe they can be of more help.

The one on the right looks like a NY State Button. Check if it has the word "Excelsior" under the shield. You can check this site for them:
Button backmarks, Waterbury Button Co, Waterbury Connecticut.

The one on the right is a NY. state button, if you check out my profile you can see the one i found its in mint shape...Nice finds for sure..
