Yesterday was great! Dirt Digler and Dr.Tones got out for a hunt and we scored some epic coinage including a 1896 O barber quarter and a 1908 S Indian head!
Fantastic finds as usual dr tones!! Is this from a rural site or more townlike? I only ask cause I seem to find older coins (lcs, ihs) in rural areas by me cause the high tones are often cherry picked by others, and my silver coinage more often comes from towns. Its tough finding "virgin" areas here in northeast pa
This was a private residence off of a main street in a town of approx. 8000 people. We actually started hunting the house next door and soon realized that it had been hit pretty hard before. The next door neighbor was out doing yard work so we hit her up and oddly enough she says "Go ahead... Some other guy spent the whole day here two years ago" Now... Dirt Digler and I know better than to walk away because its "Been hunted". Obviously one of two things happened. Either this place was waaaaaaaay better before or this guy had subpar equipment and lack of knowledge. Point is... give it a shot!
Dude you guys gotta upload some new videos! I'm starting to get the shakes. That street tear out video had me pumped up! TV network should have approached you guys instead, you guys are awesome. GL HH
Doc,
You are not allowed to post on Tnet without one of those great videos.
Fantastic job on the old coinage guys.
WE NEED ANOTHER VIDEO!!!!!
Congrats,
MM
Haha! I promise there will be tons of videos to come. Working full time, wife, toddler, research/detecting leaves me with hardly any time to edit and that takes some time. But I promise, I will have some epic videos in the next few months.
