Hooked up the SE with a new SunRay 5".. and got a solid hit. Digging a plug 8" down I discovere the reminants of this watch. No gears or working.. just the frame. Thought it was a pretty cool. 9 feet away, I came across another watch, where there was glass and the partial back piece.. might be related??

Hey there DB,
Nice pocket watch frame. I found a gold pw also it was about 6" face down in the hole thought I had found My first silver dollar. Mine was gold and someone on here looked up serial # and found out for me it was made in 1894!!!!! awesome. Anyway great find, makes you wonder what the person that use to own it was like.
Great Hunting and Rutting to all,
