Well I've been using my new XP Deus now for just over 2 weeks. One of the knocks I had heard was it had a hard time pinpointing targets. I'm finding it to not be much of an issue. Yesterday I found this really nice penny after a bit of digging.

Happy Hunting everyone!

I am sure the landowner will never notice the hole. A coin spill should take about an acre ha ha. Good one, and happy hunting.:icon_thumleft:

Let me know how it goes w/the XP DEUS, I've been looking @ them

Metalguru,

So far I'm liking the Deus immensely. It is light as a feather and right out of the box it is a fantastic machine. I got mine on a Thursday night and the following Friday I found 3 mercs with it. All I knew to do was turn it on. It starts in Basic 1 program and that's where I left it. My production has not been as strong as that but finding more then a single silver coin during a hunt around here is tough. So finding 3 mercs was part luck (a good spot) and part excellent machine. I have been reading and re-reading the Andy Sabisch Deus book and it's a must have if you decide to purchase a Deus. I've just begun creating programs to test out in my test garden. I think it's going to be a great machine.

Congrats with the luck with the XP Deus! I can only wonder what the excavation was actually for. Maybe a archaelogical dig of a lost civilization, old 1600's/1700's Fort or ancient road.

1982 Penny

Check your 1982 penny because they had some double die errors on them that year.
