Hurricane Sandy Washout (Last night)

Had a quick two hours to kill, hit this location which is a block or two from my residence on the banks of the Minisceongo. This location is about 1/2 mile downstream from a historic location. The tonnage of soil lost during Sandy is immeasurable, see pic below, it your eyesight is good, you can see the neon pink markers where the old river bank used to be.


Ended the quick hunt when the skies opened up, roughly 3 beans in clad, an rusted out Buck knife and a plate, not bad considering..
