Nice haul there Cintisteve, that object you aren't sure of is a type of compass for drawing circles but I'm not sure what type of equipment it goes in. HH

IS the star sterling?

The "compass like thing" is, I believe is used for architecture and/or mapping, for measuring distance between two points.
