I went hunting on Sunday and thought I had a good day 1899 Barber Half, 1908 V nickel and 2 old wheats. I also found a crappy looking aluminum ring, so I thought. I left it on the workbench and didn't even clean the dirt off of it. Well today I was cleaning up my junk and sorting it out and I cleaned the ring. It's not made of aluminum no its solid gold. The karat mark is hard to read but it's there and the ring is cracked and the gold goes all the way through so it's not plated. Looks like some type of ladies wedding band. Thanks for looking
