Got out swinging today for the first time since I threw my bak out last week. I only went to my local park and didn't expect to find much but was pleasantly surprised by a little spill. I got a hit on my AT pro between 70-80s and started digging. At about 6-7 inches I popped out a buckle with a nice looking green patina (any info of age style or type would be appreciated) then I went back over the hole and I popped out what appears to be a 1925 wheat penny, can't be anything else right? Wrong one last pass and I got a awesome looking token (my first token of any kind) that says good for 5 cents package of mints! I am pretty excited about this find so as always any info would be appreciated. Thanks.

You'll have a much harder time finding the 5 cent package of mints then that cool token. I love the tokens better then the coins!

Anyone have any idea on what kind of buckle or The age?

Seriously no one else thinks this thing is cool? I did a little research and found that it's a prohibition era slot machine token. The "mints" wording was in order to get around strict gambling laws of the time. Hand it to the merchant and they hand u a nickel and 5 cents was a lot during the depression. It's in great shape too! Not with a ton but my first toke and easily one of my favorite finds to date.
