Our first day of huntin

Finally after the thaw and the rain The boys and I got out to play

We went to a friends house to check out his brand new toy (a Harley). I told him when we come up we're going to search his yard. Of course I received the standard response. There's nothing in this yard but trash. Well We had a pretty good day and only searched the back half of the yard. We found (1) 1956 quarter, (1) 1952 dime, (3) Wheaties 1944, 49, 42. along with about a $1.20 in clad, a button (which we need help ID'ing) and a thingy (or a whatzit).

All in all a great day! Enjoy

It's great to finally get out after the long winter huh.

I don't know the technical name for the whats it but I believe it goes on the top of a flagpole. It's pretty cool either way. Nice find!

Lets just say He was surprised at the finds and would like to go on a few other hunts with us.
He was right there digging and anxious like the rest of us....Possibly a new member shortly !!!

Anyone have any idea about the button. I Think I can make out "hostra X es x devs spes x"
