I know these are rough, but crude is always good.

I think one may be a tent fastener from the Civil War era. The hook seems to be a sort of sword or weapon hook, that would be pulled through a uniform suspender. Anyway, these were found in Lanark, NM. I also found this anchor button, deep in the dirt, but I haven't been able to identify it.

Nothing on the back:( it is a 2 piece though. The thought that throws me off is that the place I found it has been vacant since the late 1940s. I found it about 2 feet into the sand, next to the old railroad. I love buckles too.
