My First Silver! And its a half!!

Finally found silver. I have been killing it in the relics and tool area, but no precious metals until today! I went to my cousins house that is pretty old and has a huge yard. I started in the back yard, dug one target and then decided to go to the front yard that is smaller. I dug some aluminum, but a few keepers as well. I hit a solid 90ish signal and was digging at the side at the hole and out pops this 1951 D half dollar! The front is toasty, but oh well. Can't complain getting a half dollar for my first silver. I also found what I think is a old piece of spoon or fork, but I am not sure. It is not solid I could spilt it in half if I wanted to. Also I need help with the metal ball I found (jingle bell looking thing). I have seen them on here before, but can't remember what they are used for. Is it just an antique sleigh bell? I also found 3 pennies- one is a 1946 wheatie also a first. The most beautiful part of the story is the front yard could be hit again and the backyard is 7 times as big! I just put my shovel and detector in his basement. I said I will be up here over the next few weeks haha.

Big congrats on that 1st silver!! That bell is a crotal bell. They were attached to horse harness.
