Surprise at School

Had a couple of hours and my niece wanted to hunt so we went to an old school . We found a ton of clad, which was good for her to learn her machine. Then, I found this. I thought I had something, but alas it is dated 1971, and I am sure not valuable at all. Not sure exactly what is is. No time to look it up yet.

Jerseygirl...great find nevertheless..actually, just a month or so ago at our local fairgrounds, I got a good high hit (88-89), and pulled out an old-looking copper coin, and after a little careful scraping, was able to make out "--64". I thought i had found an old 1864 coin !! but alas..more cleaning revealed the "1964" and the fact that it was a newer British coin, like yours. Cool find !! thx for sharing..ddf

The thing that is cool about it is, wondering how it got to where it was, Of course I mean before the kid lost it.LOL
